Our Story

If you had told me a few years (or months) ago that I'd be starting a clothing and accessories brand, I probably would’ve laughed out loud. As a lifelong risk-avoider and total creature of habit, launching Sneakers and Sweatpants has not only represented a career shift, but it’s also been a jump into completely uncharted territory. I’ve been yearning to scratch a creative itch, and I found myself with more than usual free time. This, coupled with my appreciation for the uniqueness that exists in all of us spurred me to finally listen to the voice nudging me to create something of my own. And, thus, Sneakers and Sweatpants was born.

Sneakers and Sweatpants is a collection of clothing and accessories designed to help you feel like your most authentic self. Whether you're lounging, running errands, or just living life, the pieces are made to move with you and celebrate your unique vibe. The name comes from the fact that I am personally most ‘at home’ when I am in sneakers and sweats. It’s a metaphor for comfort, not just in what we wear, but in who we are.

Creating this brand has forced me to put myself out there in a deeply personal way. I’ve had moments of fear, bursts of expansive learning, I’ve grappled with imposter syndrome and made my family crazy with my incessant updates. It has been a ride so far - and I’m buying more tokens! I've fallen in love with both the pieces and the process.
